13/12/2009 - LFA Junior Cup and Challenge Cup head list

The welcome improvement in the weather resulted in 38 matches going ahead this Saturday (12/12/2009).  Heading the list this week were 3 LFA Junior Cup matches and 3 matches in the 4^th round (last 16) of the Challenge Cup – including a very closely fought match between Terenure FC 1^sts and 3^rds.  The latter match is due to be featured in Tuesday’s Star.

Progress was also made in the MMI Cup and the Sidney Bedlow Cup, along with 26 league matches going ahead in the various divisions.

All UCFL teams should note that fixtures will be scheduled on private pitches for 19/12/2009.  Fixtures will appear in the Star next Tuesday.
